The people who stand here

ARC Open Governance is an institution of named people, and this page names them. Three groups stand here, kept distinct on purpose. They are the founders, the founding members, and the members admitted since.

The founding set is closed. It is a matter of history, and no one joins it later. Members are admitted by governed public proposal, and every proposal names the person, their charge, and the grounding contribution the admission rests on. Membership confers standing and a voice, and nothing else by itself.

The people who stand up get named as standing. The institution they stand in is stated on the Foundation page. This list is a beginning, and it is meant to grow through the same governed door.

Admitted by governed proposal

Members

One member stands admitted under the membership doctrine today, and he stands first.

First member

Marcus Yarbrough

Marcus Yarbrough is the first member added to ARC Open Governance. A content creator and a supporter of this work from before the doors opened, he stood up Node 005 through the public door on the founding weekend and tells the network story from his own real setup. His charge is content and community. His homepage artwork — contribution-001, the first recognized contribution in the record — began the artwork style the whole site now speaks; every illustration since extends his grammar. His node stands in the registry as filed, under the name Agoodtime, at Chicago as he filed it.

He accepted the membership and the charge on October 20, 2026, and the presentation above stands in the wording he agreed to, with his name filled in as he supplied it.

The founding set

The founders

Founder and architect

Ricky Aliae

The relational model, the computer class, and the settlement discipline are his design. He works as an artist as well as an architect, and the standard he sets for the public presentation is that the work be interpretable without being diminished.

Co-founder

Alia B. Dixon

Relational modeling and institutional coherence. Alia holds the shape of the institution itself, how its parts relate, and how its language stays honest as it grows. She operates Node 004.

The founding set

Founding members

The founding members were added on October 16, 2026. They serve as advisors to the founder and as contributors, and there is no set board yet. Their wider designations remain subject to final role definition and counsel documentation, and they are published in that spirit.

Community liaison and pilot strategy

Ria Rice-Lawson

A community ecosystem builder. Ria designs the pilots, makes the trusted introductions, and leads impact and integration discovery, the work that carries the institution into the communities it is meant to serve. She operates Node 007.

Infrastructure operations and technical counsel

Randal Tinsley

Director of Engineering at the Chicago Marriott Marquis, where he runs complex facilities, energy, and capital projects. Randal brings the physical systems discipline to the team, and a year of counsel behind it.

Human development, community advocacy, and advising

Ann Fox Morgan

Her ground is counseling and organizational behavior, with a practice in child psychotherapy and advocacy with the American Civil Liberties Union. Ann holds the human development side of the work, and its civic trust.

Community ally and institutional catalyst

M. Renée Orth

An attorney and a co-founder of StardUSt. Renée opens the community pilot pathway through trusted introductions and regenerative systems work, and her designation is an active one, still in development.
