The demos

Start with a statement. Then touch the proof.

Five demonstrations, in the order a person meets them. First, Make-a-Statement: a signed, public, verifiable act that anyone can do in a minute. Second, the Provenance Chain: credit by construction, a creator's work followed link by link from his hands to the public record, checkable by a stranger. Then the Leash, an agent working under law you can watch; the Constellation, the living world your network is becoming; and the Handoff, staged honestly until its proof closes. Your work, your terms, your record. Consent before use. Pause, revoke, evidence. The governance vocabulary is real, and it stands where it belongs: underneath the human sentences, on every card, carried exactly as the catalogue of record states it.

Every demonstration on this page binds to real state only. A demo that is live runs on the record as it stands today, and anyone can check it. A demo that is staged says so on its face, names what it is waiting for, and is never presented as more than it is. That discipline is itself the first thing being demonstrated.

From the command line, the same shelf is one command away. arc demo list prints the five with their grades of record, and each demo launches by name: arc demo leash, arc demo statement, arc demo provenance, arc demo handoff.

LIVE

Make-a-Statement

What it proves. A statement made on a node becomes public record that a stranger can verify without trusting anyone. The walk recomputes Node 008’s address from its public key, verifies its Ed25519 signature over its own proposal, finds its entry in the registry ledger, and verifies the signed checkpoint over the whole ledger.

Where it lives. The public registry. Node 008, the Memory Keeper, filed the first agent-run Statement on October 22, 2026. Origination is always the node’s own signed act. This demonstration verifies, and never originates.

Launch. arc demo statement on the seat, or read the entry yourself on the Registry page.
LIVE

The Provenance Chain

What it proves. A creator’s work carries its credit by construction. The walk starts at Marcus Yarbrough’s original artwork, recomputes its digest from the filed original, and follows the chain through the prepared rendition and the shipped image to the deployments that carried it and the credit ledger entry that recognizes it. Every recomputable link is recomputed in front of the audience.

Where it lives. The homepage and the registry, where Node 005’s card carries the contribution of record. A second instance, a track released through ARC with governed stems and clearance as settlement, stands staged. No real track stands on the record yet, and this page does not pretend one does.

Launch. arc demo provenance on the seat, or walk it in the browser from Node 005’s registry card.
LIVE

Agent-on-a-Leash

What it proves. An agent’s consequential acts pass a gate, one at a time, and the gate’s word is final. The audience watches an admission open an exposure, a second act on the open lane denied, an oversize act denied on budget, and the founder’s pause and revoke hold the agent mid-run. Every step lands as a receipt.

Where it lives. The Noetica seat, on the KORE governance engine, the same engine that admits or denies the institution’s own consequential acts. Its boundary is named on its face. The wrapper-mediated propose lane is not one of its legs.

Launch. arc demo leash on the seat, then press Enter at each beat. Under a minute, no setup.
BUILDING

The Living Constellation

What it proves. Home can be the living world of the record. The real node map at true presence, the relation count bound live to the corpus, the few things that need your word on top, the day’s story beneath, and a tap on any node opening its own signed statements and receipts.

Where it lives. The VALIS app, where the Constellation is Home. In build inside the current app pass, ordered October 22, 2026. Device captures go to the founder’s eye before any publish, and nothing staged ships unless it is functional.

Launch. When it lands, open the app. The record it renders is live today on the Network page.
STAGED

The Handoff

What it proves. Work started on one surface continues on another with its memory and its receipts intact, one mind across surfaces. This is the continuity claim, and it is graded staged until the continuity proof closes.

Where it lives. Across the institution’s surfaces. It fires the moment the proof closes, when the journal release is deployed and the acceptance sequence and window re-proof pass at their bar. Until then the cross-surface round trip stands indeterminate, and the demo does not launch.

Launch. arc demo handoff names its trigger and exits staged. Nothing is simulated in its place.

The programme of record, with each demo’s entry point and evidence grade, is the five-demo catalogue, filed October 22, 2026. Grades move when the record moves, and this page moves with them.
