The Architecture Baseline
The VALIS-KORE institutional design is stated, whole, by one composite: six layers, one engine at the center, 18 measured cells, 95 measures, and 12 gates. On October 23, 2026, the founder ratified that composite as the architecture baseline of the institution — the one description of the design that stands.
- Six layers — the design is drawn in six layers.
- One engine — at the center of the six.
- 18 measured cells — the work of the design, organized as eighteen measured cells.
- 95 measures — the measures the design carries.
- 12 gates — the gates the design stands under.
A gate, in this institution’s usage, is where a consequential act is proposed, settled, and evidenced before it takes effect — the discipline the design exists to carry, stated in one place on the Nine Laws and carried on every surface that describes the machinery.
The Ratification
Ratified, not drafted into place
The composite came forward as a decision package and stood verified against its primary document at twelve of twelve structural checks. The founder’s word of October 23, 2026 — ratify WO-73 and publish the article — made the composite the baseline and authorized this article in the same act.
A baseline is the description everything else is reconciled against. When two surfaces describe the design differently, the baseline carries the settled meaning; it changes by a new ratified act, not by drift. That is the standing this article prints at: the shape of the design, in the figures the ratification fixed, with nothing added and nothing rounded.
Where the Record Stands
The design, and the record under it
This article states the design’s shape. The work the design organizes stands on the public record, carried day by day on the surfaces built for it: the nodes and their standing in the Living Ledger, the beta ledger and its economy on The Economy, and the documents of record in the Documents index.
